California ablaze — it's a frightening warning for us.
Enough to make you wonder what we're in for this summer.
Let's just hope it's nothing like the deadly firestorm that's raced through the American west coast, forcing more than half a million people to evacuate their homes.
And the terrible thing is, it's all part of a global pattern. Fires that get worse and worse every year — at least 10 times bigger than we've ever seen before. There's no doubt we're living in the age of the mega-fire.
